Red Wings, Generals Alumni Game & McCarty Comedy Show

Flint, Mich. - The Flint Generals Alumni will once again host the Detroit Red Wings Alumni for a star-studded contest at the Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center in Flint, Mich. Legendary Red Wings and Flint Generals players will face off in a special alumni game on Friday night, Dec. 14th at 7 p.m. (ET). All of the event fundraising proceeds will benefit the Kris Perani Hockey Foundation.

"For the fifth consecutive year, it will be great to see the guys back on the ice and in the crowd, playing the Red Wings alumni team, one of the greatest franchises in the NHL," said longtime Generals' defenseman Lorne Knauft. "Hockey fans and sports' fans, Firebirds' fans, Generals' fans and Red Wings' fans alike, won't want to miss it."

Red Wings fan favorites Darren McCarty and Eddie Mio will headline the NHL squad and will be joined by several notable Wings alumni including right winger and 50 goal-scorer, John Ogrodnick.

The Flint Generals will be headlined by Jim Duhart, defenseman Stéphane Brochu, defenseman Keith Whitmore and right wing Jason Glover.

Despite the all-star lineup, the family-friendly event won't break the bank as tickets start at $12 dollars and may be purchased at the Dort Federal Credit Union Box Office or by visiting www.tickemaster.com. Live and Online Auctions, 50/50 Raffle and Chuck-a-Puck to Benefit the Kris Perani Hockey Foundation - There will be a live jersey auction during the lone intermission Friday night where fans can bid on the Generals' Stephan Brochu and Jim Duhart's jerseys and the Red Wings' Darren McCarty's jersey.

All Flint Generals' game-worn jerseys will be signed and auctioned on the Dash Auction App and the Dash Auction website until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 14. Fans who want to bid can download the DASH Auction app in the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store or visit the auction online here to place their bids.

Darren takes off the gloves and shares a night of stories, jokes, new memories and an audience Question & Answer section.

There will be a full meet and greet and time for selfies with D-Mac after the show!
