Tonight's game between the Springfield Cardinals and the Corpus Christi Hooks at Hammons Field has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions, lightning and continuous rain. Tonight's game will be made up as part of a double-header on Wednesday, July 12th. Texas League double-headers consist of two seven-inning games, with game one on Wednesday scheduled to start at 6:10pm. Game two will begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one.
Tickets from the July 10th, 2006 game against the Corpus Christi Hooks may be exchanged for any remaining regular season game during the 2006 season. Tickets must be mailed or presented in person to the Cardinals Ticket Office, located at the main gate or in the right field corner at Hammons Field, at anytime during the remainder of the 2006 season. Complimentary tickets are not exchangeable.
The Cardinals would like to thank all the fans that showed up to Hammons Field on Monday night and sat through a pre-game storm.
The Cardinals and the Corpus Christi Hooks will match up again on Tuesday night, with game time scheduled for 7:10pm. Chris Lambert (7-7) is the scheduled starter for Springfield, while Corpus Christi is scheduled to throw Josh Miller (7-6).
