WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita Wranglers outfielder Mitch Maier has been named the Texas League Player of the Week for July 3 - 9.
In five games against the Arkansas Travelers at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, Maier batted .421 with 2 HR and 8 RBI.
This is the second time Maier has won the award this season.
The Wranglers next home game is Tuesday, July 18th vs. Springfield. Tickets are on sale now at the box office and at www.wichitawranglers.com.
