
Wranglers Enter Final Homestand

WICHITA, KS (August 22, 2007) - The Wichita Wranglers enter their final homestand tonight in a 4-game series against the Arkansas Travelers, followed by a 4-game series against the Tulsa Drillers. Eight games will be played in six days at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium due to two double-headers.
Promotional elements and game times are listed in full below:
- Wednesday, August 22nd at 7 p.m. vs. Arkansas Travelers - $5 Ticket Night featuring Dollar Hot Dogs and Dollar Drinks by Hormel. All seats are just $5.
- Thursday, August 23rd at 5 p.m. vs. Arkansas Travelers (Double Header) - Shiner Bock Beer 4-A-Buck. The teams play two 7-inning games. Thursdays are also College Nights: fans can present a valid college ID to receive $1 off the price of their ticket.
- Friday, August 24th at 7 p.m. vs. Arkansas Travelers - College Football Night with a special tribute to the participants of the Wichita Public Library Summer Reading Program pre-game. Fans donning college football apparel will receive $1 off the price of their ticket.
- Saturday, August 25th at 7 p.m. vs. Tulsa Drillers - Fan Appreciation Night with Post-Game Fireworks. The Wranglers will give away many prizes throughout the entire game! Fireworks will cap the night off with a bang.
- Sunday, August 26th at 12:00 p.m. vs. Tulsa Drillers (Double Header) - Family Fun Day. The teams play two 7-inning games. Take advantage of the Family 4-Pack: 4 Outlaw tickets, 4 Hot Dogs, 4 Sodas and a Wranglers Souvenir Pennant for $25. Following both Wranglers games is the Annual Cops vs. Wranglers Staff Charity Game. A silent auction of sports memorabilia will be held during the game, with all proceeds benefiting the Law Enforcement Memorial of Sedgwick County.
- Monday, August 27th at 7 p.m. vs. Tulsa Drillers - Amnesty Day. It's the very last game of the season. Any unused ticket from the 2007 Wranglers season can be exchanged for a free Outlaw ticket, or a $5 upgrade towards a higher-priced ticket. Post-game will be a videoboard farewell and one last Wranglers fireworks show.
