CANUCKS RECALL PHILIP HOLM & REASSIGN PATRICK WIERCIOCH

Utica, NY - Vancouver Canucks General Manager Jim Benning announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Philip Holm from the Utica Comets and reassigned defenseman Patrick Wiercioch.

Holm, 25, leads Comets defensemen in scoring this season, recording 10 points (2-8-10) in 15 games played. Holm spent the 2016-17 season with Vaxjo where he recorded 21 points (4-17-21) and 30 penalty minutes in 52 games. Holm signed a one-year, entry-level contract with the Canucks on May 26, 2017.

Wiercioch, 27, has appeared in two games for the Comets this season, collecting one goal. He has appeared in 268 career NHL games, accumulating 74 points (16-58-74) and 138 penalty minutes.
