Canucks Re-Assign Green & Ryan to Moose

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced they have re-assigned forward Josh Green and defenceman Prestin Ryan to the Moose.

Ryan, 25, played in one game with Vancouver following his recall on Feb. 8/06 vs. St. Louis. With the Moose, the Arcola, SK native has appeared in 35 games so far this season. He has scored eight goals and seven assists for 15 points and 34 penalty minutes. Ryan suffered a concussion in Manitoba's fourth game of the season on Oct. 14/05 at Milwaukee and subsequently missed the next 10 games. Recently, Ryan has collected nine points (4G, 5A) in his last 10 games with the Moose.

Green, 28, played in 11 games with the Canucks following his emergency recall on Jan.19/06. During that time, he scored two goals and an assist for three points. In 20 games in total with Vancouver this season, the Camrose, AB native has four goals and an assist for five points and 10 penalty minutes. In 21 games with the Moose this year, Green has six goals and 14 assists for 20 points and 23 penalty minutes. Green missed a month of action after suffering a hand injury on Dec. 7/05 vs. Rochester. In his career, Green has now played in 252 NHL games with 33 goals and 33 assists for 66 points and 164 penalty minutes.
