PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League, in partnership with the Yavapai Food Bank, today announced that non-perishable food items collected during the Arizona Sundogs game on Wednesday, Nov. 21 totaled 765 pounds.
"The support our fans offer to our organization and our partners throughout Northern Arizona is truly special," said Arizona Sundogs President Brent Thiessen. "The success of our jersey auctions and various other charitable efforts showcase the ongoing commitment our fans have for making Northern Arizona a better place to live."
The Yavapai Food Bank, one of the Arizona Sundogs Foundation's six Team Up For Hope partners, feeds thousands of families and individuals on a weekly basis.
