West Valley City, Utah - Joe Cannata gets the shutout as he stopped all 30 shots he faced and the Grizzlies got goals from 4 different players as the Utah Grizzlies defeated the Indy Fuel 4-0 in front of 8,140 fans at Maverik Center on Saturday night.

The Grizzlies win 2 of the 3 games in the series and take their record to 9-2-3 on the year.

Both goaltenders were strong early in the game, with it remaining scoreless until Austin Carroll put the Grizzlies on the board 7:37 into the second period. Carroll now has a point in 10 straight games.

Caleb Herbert scored a short-handed goal 13:14 into the 2nd period to extend his league leading total to 13 goals on the year. Herbert also added an assist for a multi-point night.

Teigan Zahn and Matt Berry each scored third period goals. Berry has goals in back to back games. For Zahn, it's his first goal since returning to the Grizzlies this year after 4 seasons with the Colorado Eagles.

The Grizzlies raised over 10 thousand dollars for the Angel's hands foundation on what was the largest crowd of the season at Maverik Center, with 8140 fans attending the Saturday night win.

Utah continues the 6 game homestand next Wednesday, Friday and Saturday vs the Allen Americans. 7 pm face-offs all 3 games.
