
Americans Shut Down Tulsa 2-0

Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, defeated the Tulsa Oilers on Saturday night 2-0 at the BOK Center ending their 8-game losing streak.
Adam Miller scored his first of the season in the second period and Spencer Asuchak scored his seventh of the season in the third as the Americans snapped their long losing skid.
CJ Motte recorded his second shutout of the season stopping 42 shots to earn the number one star of the game. Motte had a 44-save performance in his other shutout in Wichita back in October.
The Americans continue the road trip next Wednesday night in Utah, Allen will play three in Salt Lake City before returning home on November 30th against Wichita.
