PROMOTIONS/EVENTS
Next Home Game: The Hurricanes welcome the Regina Pats to the ENMAX Centre on Friday at 7:00pm. Tickets can be purchased online at www.enmaxcentre.ca, by phone at 403-329-SEAT (7328) or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre or Yates Memorial Theatre Ticket Centre.
Ticket Centre Hours: The ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre will have new hours starting Saturday, November 16th. The Ticket Centre will be closed on Saturday's, except for Hurricane game days and events.
New Concession Hours: The ENMAX Centre Concessions will now remain open until there is five-minutes left in the third period of every Hurricanes game; including alcohol sales. The change is effective immediately.
B-93 Halloween Howler: The Hurricanes will host the B-93 Halloween Howler on Saturday, October 26th against the Medicine Hat Tigers. Fans are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to the game. There will be prizes for best adult and best youth costumes.
Superstore Player Event: Real Canadian Superstore invites Hurricanes fans to meet some of their favourite 'Canes players on Wednesday, October 23rd between 6:00pm-7:00pm while they pack your groceries. Real Canadian Superstore is an official partner of the WHL - like hockey fans, we don't do average.
Party Deck: Full and half Part Decks are still available for Hurricanes home games. Great for a family or work function; half deck includes 20 tickets for $725.00. Contact Dylan or Tamara at 403-328-196 for details and availability.
THE WEEK THAT WAS
Friday, October 11th - 4-2 Loss at Prince Albert Raiders: The Hurricanes began a four-game road trip with a 4-2 loss on Friday in Prince Albert. Ty Nash and Koletrane Wilson scored the goals in the defeat.
Saturday, October 12th - 2-1 Loss at Saskatoon Blades: The 'Canes were handed a 2-1 loss on Saturday in Saskatoon against the Blades. Dylan Cozens scored the lone goal in the game for the Hurricanes.
Sunday, October 13th - 5-4 Win at Regina Pats: The Hurricanes ended a two-game losing streak on Sunday with a 5-4 win in Regina against the Pats. Oliver Okuliar scored twice while Ty Prefontaine, Dylan Cozens and Ty Nash scored the others.
THIS WEEK'S GAME SCHEDULE
Tuesday, October 15th - at Moose Jaw Warriors (7:00pm): The Hurricanes end a four-game Saskatchewan road trip on Tuesday when they visit the Moose Jaw Warriors. It will be the first of four meetings on the season between the 'Canes and Warriors.
Friday, October 18th - vs. Regina Pats (7:00pm): The Hurricanes return to the ENMAX Centre on Friday when they welcome the Regina Pats in the second meeting in five days. The 'Canes beat the Pats 5-4 Sunday in Regina at the Brandt Centre.
Saturday, October 19th - vs. Moose Jaw Warriors (7:00pm): Lethbridge welcomes the Moose Jaw Warriors on Saturday at home in the second meeting of the week between the two teams.
NEWS & NOTES
Above .500: Hurricanes enter Tuesday's game with a 3-2-0-0 record on the season away from the ENMAX Centre. The Hurricanes have earned road victories against the Medicine Hat Tigers, Edmonton Oil Kings and Regina Pats.
Strong PK: The Hurricanes penalty kill has been strong over their last six games. The 'Canes have killed of 28 of their last 31 minor penalties against for a kill percentage of 93.5% in that span. Lethbridge killed off 23 straight minor penalties leading into Sunday's game in Regina.
