Raiders Trade Balas to Spokane

Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders have traded the WHL playing rights of 2001-born goaltender Brett Balas to the Spokane Chiefs in exchange for a ninth-round pick in the 2023 WHL Bantam Draft.

Balas was recently assigned by the Raiders to the AJHL's Drumheller Dragons.

The Calgary, AB product played in three games with the Raiders in his WHL career, posting a 2-1-0-0 record with a 2.96 goals-against average and a 0.857 save percentage.

The Raiders hit the road for their next five games as they embark on their biennial US Division road trip, which begins on Saturday night in Everett against the Silvertips. Game time is 8:05 p.m. CST. Catch the game at The Rock And Iron Sports Bar, or listen to Trevor Redden on 900 CKBI.
