Canadiens Recall Leblanc from Bulldogs

MONTREAL, QUEBEC - Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Canadiens have recalled forward Louis Leblanc from the Bulldogs.

Leblanc has split this season between Hamilton and Montreal. In 36 games with Hamilton, the 6'0", 190-pound forward has recorded 20 points (nine goals, 11 assists) and 30 penalty minutes. In five games with Montreal, the Pointe-Claire, Quebec native has recorded no points and two penalty minutes. In 62 regular season games with Hamilton last season, the 22-year-old recorded 18 points (10 goals, eight assists) and 53 penalty minutes. He was selected by the Canadiens in the first round (18th overall) in the 2009 National Hockey League Entry Draft.

Hamilton's next game is scheduled for Friday, January 24th, when they will host the Toronto Marlies (AHL affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs) at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum.
