Ottawa Recalls Da Costa

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -The Ottawa Senators announced today they have recalled forward Stephane Da Costa from American Hockey League affiliate the Binghamton Senators.

Da Costa, 24, has appeared in 39 career games with Ottawa spanning from the 2010-2011 season through this year. In 39 games the Paris, France, native has compiled four goals and three assists to go with 10 penalty minutes. Da Costa started the season with Ottawa following training camp before being sent down to Binghamton on October 18.

In 37 games with Binghamton this season Da Costa has compiled 12 goals and 25 assists and a plus-11 rating on the ice.

Ottawa hits the road for three straight games this week, the first tomorrow versus the Washington Capitals in a 7:00p.m. contest.

Binghamton will be on home ice this Friday versus the Albany Devils and Saturday versus the Rochester Americans before hitting the road Sunday for Albany to finish up their week.
