Cameron Roegner Added to Shuckers Roster

BILOXI, MS - The Biloxi Shuckers, Double-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, have announced a pair of roster moves on Friday. LHP Cameron Roegner has been added to the Shuckers active roster, while LHP Daniel Brown was assigned to the Rocky Mountain Vibes. Roegner rejoins the Shuckers active roster after pitching in Biloxi through the conclusion of the 2018 season.

Taken by the Brewers in the 22nd round of the 2016 First Year Player Draft out of Bradley University, Roegner made 19 starts with High-A Carolina in 2018 before his promotion to Biloxi on 7/29. The Beloit, WI native led the Carolina League in ERA (2.16), earning an All-Star selection while also being named the starting pitcher for the South Division. Roegner concluded his season with five starts for the Shuckers going 0-1 with a 5.74 ERA and 11 strikeouts over 15.2 innings.

In a corresponding roster move, the Shuckers have moved LHP Daniel Brown to the Rocky Mountain Vibes. A member of the Opening Day roster, Brown is 1-0 with a 2.76 ERA over 16 games and 16.1 innings on the year. The Mississippi State product last pitched in Mobile on 5/25.

Winners of six of the last seven, the Shuckers continue their five-game series with the Tennessee Smokies on Friday night at 6:35 pm. Fans will get to enjoy postgame fireworks on Fireworks Friday presented by Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi.
