Calgary, AB - Chris Driedger made 32 saves to record his second Western Hockey League shutout as the Calgary Hitmen defeated the Vancouver Giants 2-0 Friday evening at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Collin Bowman netted his 12th goal of the season midway through the first period while Trevor Cheek scored an empty net marker late in the third to extend Calgary's winning streak to four straight.

The Hitmen, now 29-17-2-1 on the season, are tied with the Kootenay Ice for fourth in the WHL Eastern Conference with 61 points.

Calgary travels to Medicine Hat Saturday, January 28 for a 7:30 p.m. matchup followed by a Sunday afternoon home ice contest against the Tri-City Americans. Puck drop is 4:00 p.m. on Sunday for the Wendy's Novice Development Day game.
