
Calgary Flames Trim Roster By Three

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today that forward Mikael Backlund has been reassigned to Vasteras in the Swedish Elite League while goaltender Matt Keetley and forward John Armstrong have been reassigned to the Quad City Flames (AHL).
The Flames now have 26 players remaining at training camp: two goalies, nine defenseman and 15 forwards.

The Calgary Flames finished the preseason with a 5-2 record and open up the regular season on Thursday, October 9th in Vancouver.
