The San Francisco Giants have made the following transactions affecting the roster of Double-A Richmond prior to Thursday's game with Harrisburg:
C Eliezer Zambrano received from Augusta (A)...INF Sharlon Schoop received from Augusta (A)...SS Brandon Crawford placed on the Disabled List (Right Hand)...INF Juan Ciriaco transferred to San Jose (A+) [24 + 4 DL]
The corresponding moves leave the Flying Squirrels at the Eastern League maximum of 24 active players. Four players (Crawford, 1B Andy D'Alessio, OF Roger Kieschnick, C Nestor Rojas) are currently on the Disabled List.
