
Busy Week for K-Wings

Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce they will be making several public appearances greeting fans and signing autographs next week.
On Tuesday, March 1st, Steven Tarasuk and Mike Sellitto will talk to students from St. Mary's Elementary School starting at 1 p.m.
The following day, on Wednesday, March 2nd, Bryan Jurynec and Corey Syvret will visit with the students of Pathfinder Center School starting at 1 p.m.
Also on Wednesday, Kory Karlander and Joe Charlebois will head back to school taking at Parchment Elementary at 1 p.m. At the same time on Wednesday, Ryan Nie and Riley Gill will be at Pine Trail Elementary.
Capping off a busy Wednesday with school-aged children, Brady Leisenring and A.J. Thelen will be at Prairie Ridge Elementary from 5:30-7:30 p.m. reading to children during literacy night, presented by Midwest Fire Safety.
The school visits will continue on Thursday, March 3rd with a pair of visits. Jay Sprague and Aaron Clarke will take their backpacks to Coopers Elementary at 1 p.m.
At the same time, Patrick Asselin and Sam Ftorek will speak with the students at North Elementary.
Enjoying a rare Saturday afternoon off, the Bryan Jurynec, Darryl Lloyd, Jay Sprague and Kalamazoo favorite mascot, Slappy will spend March 5th at the Air Zoo on Portage Road from 12-2 p.m.

Admission to the Air Zoo is FREE; which includes entrance in the main campus. Wrist bands are available for purchase for rides.
Special for K-Wings Kidz Club members, any member of the Kidz Club that purchase a $12.95 Ultimate Ace wrist band on March 5th will receive a FREE membership to Air Zoo's SkySpace Kids Club (a value of $23.25).
