Burt Returns to Reign and Brings Kings Prospect with Him

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, back-to-back Pacific Division Champions and proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings and Winnipeg Jets, announced that two-way forward Cameron Burt will return, and LA Kings prospect Maxim Kitsyn has been re-assigned to the Reign by the Kings.

Burt, 26, returns to Ontario after playing nine games in Manchester with six points (1g, 5a) earned. Burt began the season with the Reign and accumulated nine points (2g, 7a) in 14 games.

Kitsyn, 22, joins the Reign for the first time in his career after playing in 20 games with Manchester. In that time the forward recorded four points (3g, 1a). Prior to playing professionally in North America, Kitsyn has played in the KHL since 2008 with a 32-game stint in the OHL during the 2010-11 season.

The Russian skater played 110 KHL games, most of them with Metallurg Novokuznetsk, with the exception of his eight-game 2012-13 stint with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod. He has a career 19 KHL points (10g, 9a).

Kistyn was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the sixth round (#158 overall) in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Reign Drops: Thursday, Jan. 23 the Ontario Reign will be serving dinner (6 - 8 p.m.) at Dave and Buster's at Ontario Mills Mall to help raise money for the Hope Reigns Foundation and Make-a-Wish Foundation.

The Reign will take on their Pacific Division rival, the Stockton Thunder on Friday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. NHRA Rookie of the Year, Brittany Force of John Force Racing, will be in the building to take pictures, sign autographs, and drop the puck on Friday night!
