
Burnevik Ties Franchise Record, Muskegon Comes from Behind to Win

In a game where Austin Burnevik tied Alec Broetzman for the Tier 1 franchise record for goals in a season with 25, the Capitols lost a lead in the third period to extend their losing streak to four games, tied for the team's longest of the season.
The Capitols fall to 17-14-4-2 on the season. Goal scorers in the game for Madison were Brandt, Burnevik(x2), and Kuzma.
Besides tying the record, Burnevik also hit the forty point marker to be the first Capitol to do so this season. He got to the 41 point mark with his 25th goal of the season late in the game. Burnevik played in his 100th USHL game on Sunday.
Chris Delaney picked up three assists in the game to lead the team in that category. He was one of three Capitols with multiple points in the game.
Andrew Kuzma scored for the third consecutive game in the game today. It marks a five point weekend for the forward from Illinois. He's scored eight goals in the past nine games. Kuzma also assisted on Burnevik's third period tally. Kuzma skated in his 150th USHL game on Sunday.
Also collecting points in the game for Madison were Shawn Ramsey, Brendan Lamb, and Max Nagel who all collected one assist in the game.
Madison hits the road on Friday to travel to sixth placed Chicago on Friday night before returning home on Saturday to face off against Green Bay. Puck drop on both games is set for 7:05 pm.
