Chicago Steel News Release
The Chicago Steel fell to the Muskegon Lumberjacks 5-3 in regulation at Fox Valley Ice Arena Saturday night...The Steel blew the doors open to start the game, scoring all three of their goals in 4:46 in the opening period, but a goaltending change from Muskegon swung the momentum, as the visitors scored five unanswered goals to skate to the win...The regulation loss was the first for the Steel in the new year and first since Dec. 30 in a 5-4 loss to Madison... Chicago had been 6-0-3-0 in their last nine games and had recorded at least a point in nine consecutive games.
Harvard commit Mick Thompson scored his 16th goal of the season. In the last five games, Thompson has 11 points with five goals.

Gorski's assist came a day after scoring his first career USHL goal. Hage's helper extended his point streak to five games with nine points in that stretch.
