FC Dallas News Release
DALLAS - The Dallas Burn announced today that the team has waived forward Ali Curtis and defenders Brian Dunseth and Ezra Hendrickson and released 2004 sixth round draft pick Edwin Miranda. Additionally, the Burn added 2004 fourth round selection David Wagenfuhr to the 18-man roster.
These moves, coupled with today's announcement of the signing of midfielder Simo Valakari, put the Burn at the 18-man roster limit as well as the full six-man complement of developmental players.
Curtis was acquired by the Burn on August 19, 2003 from DC United along with a 2004 first round draft pick in exchange for Ronald Cerritos and a 2004 sixth round draft pick. He saw action in eight matches for Dallas, scoring one goal and adding two assists.
Dunseth was traded from Columbus on August 20, 2003 for a conditional pick in the 2004 draft. He played in nine games for the Burn, tallying three points on a goal and an assist.
Hendrickson was acquired by the Burn on July 11, 2003 along with Gavin Glinton and a first round pick in the 2004 draft for Ryan Suarez, Paul Broome and Antonio Martinez. He played in 16 games, scoring one goal and adding one assist.
