Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp News Release
JACKSONVILLE, FL - Thanks to Alex Burg's 13th inning heroics, the Jacksonville Suns (9-7, 45-41) outlasted the Chattanooga Lookouts (6-11, 32-55) with a walk-off 3-2 victory on Saturday night from Bragan Field.

Jay Rogers pitched well but took a no decision in his longest outing as a Jacksonville Sun, allowing two runs (one earned) on six hits in 6.1 innings of work, while not walking a batter and tying his Suns season-high with five strikeouts. Rogers began the game by retiring the first 10 Lookouts he faced in order.
Frankie Reed tossed 1.2 hitless innings of relief, finishing with one strikeout in a rock solid Saturday night outing.
Nick Wittgren delivered two scoreless innings, allowing two hits and a walk striking out a pair of Lookouts.
James Nygren (W, 2-2) earned the win after tossing three shutout innings of relief, allowing just two hits while tallying two strikeouts.
Mike Thomas (L, 2-3) was saddled with the loss after giving up the game-winning run on one hit in 1.1 innings, while walking two batters and striking out three.
After the first 10 batters were retired in order, Chattanooga strung together three straight singles, with Daniel Mayora's two-run single breaking the scoreless deadlock and putting the Lookouts in front 2-0.
Terrence Dayleg (HR, 2) finally got the Suns on the board by leading off the bottom of the fifth inning with a homer to left, cutting the lead in half with Chattanooga still ahead 2-1.
Jacksonville tied the game at 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning, as Terrence Dayleg came around to score from first on a two-out RBI double from Austin Nola.
The game remained tied until the bottom of the 13th when the Suns had Alex Burg at the plate with Isaac Galloway on second base and Terrence Dayleg at first. Both runners were put in motion as Burg slapped a single through the right side, bringing Galloway in to score the game-winning run as Jacksonville emerged with a 3-2 victory.
The walk-off is Jacksonville's seventh on the 2014 season, with Burg being the man responsible for three of those wins. In addition to Saturday night's game-winning, single, his RBI single gave the Suns a 3-2 win in 10 innings over Montgomery on May 26th and his solo home run earned the Suns an 8-7 win in 10 innings against the Tennessee Smokies on June 9th.
The Suns and Lookouts will be back at it on Sunday, with first pitch set for 3:05 p.m. ET. The Suns are yet to announce their starting pitcher while the Lookouts will send out left-hander Chris Reed (4-6, 3.23).
Suns fans can listen to Sunday's game on the Suns Baseball Network, 94.1 WSOS-FM or through www.jaxsuns.com, MiLB.com or the Suns iPhone or Android app, beginning at 2:35 p.m. ET with the Memorial Hospital Suns Pregame Show on Suns Sunday.
