Bullies Pull Out Victory in Overtime, Beat Generals 3-2
Game One, Northeast Division Finals Friday, April 11, 2003 Greensboro Generals 2 @ ATLANTIC CITY BOARDWALK BULLIES 3 (overtime)
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. â The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies battled from behind to send Friday night's game into overtime and J.F. Caudron netted the game winner four minutes, 11 seconds into the extra period to keep Atlantic City undefeated in postseason play.
Peter Metcalf opened scoring less than 10 minutes into the first period and the Bullies held the lead until Greensboro tallied twice in less than a four- minute span in the second frame. Matt Turek chipped in the Generals' lone power-play goal at 2:42 and Kevin Grimes followed with an even-strength tally at 6:35.
Atlantic City's Kevin Colley attacked the net and tied the game at two on a power play with three minutes remaining in regulation, sending the game into sudden-death overtime.
Caudron finished the game with two points (1G, 1A), and currently leads the league with three game-winning goals in the playoffs this year. Jim Henkel and Luke Curtin each contributed two assists.
Matt Yeats made 21 saves and is 4-0 in the playoffs in his first professional season. Greensboro's Daniel Berthiaume stopped 37 Bullies shots.

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. â The Greensboro Generals beat the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies in overtime by a final of 3-2. Atlantic City and Greensboro are now tied at one game apiece in the best-of-five Northeast Division Finals.
J.F. Caudron and Scott Matzka scored for the Bullies, and Generals' Mark Turner tallied twice, including the game-winning goal, one minute, 13 seconds into the extra period.
Matt Yeats stopped 21 Generals shots in his first professional career playoff loss. The Bullies are now 4-1 in the 2003 Kelly Cup Playoffs.

The No. 1 seed in the Northeast Division is currently tied at one game apiece with the Greensboro Generals in the Northeast Division Finals...J.F.
