Wausau, Wis. - Capping off a home-and-home series with the Wisconsin Woodchucks (15-7), the Bullfrogs (10-14) returned to Athletic Field looking for their first win against their first place counterpart. Unfortunately, a three run sixth by the Wisconsin Woodchucks was too much to overcome as Green Bay fell to the Woodchucks by a final of 4-3.

The Bullfrogs struck first in the 2nd inning with a Dane Hutcheon (Montevello) sac fly, scoring Dean Long (Emporia State). Paul DeJong (Illinois St.) answered back with his Northwood's league leading 7th home run in the 4th to tie the game up at 1.

Brian Celsi's (California) two run double in the 7th inning, closing the deficit to one, was too little too late, as Green Bay failed to capitalize again with runners in scoring position. Celsi finished the game 1-4 with a walk and those 2 RBI.

Tyler Buss (Coffeyville CC) was stuck with the loss, giving up three runs (two earned) on six hits over 1 and one-third innings of relief. Austin Orewiller (Rice) was awarded the win pitching two solid innings of relief, only giving up two hits while striking out three. John Oltman (Cregihton) worked around a hits-batsman in the ninth inning to convert his 3rd save of the season.

The Bullfrogs begin a series in Kenosha at newly renovated Simmons Field. Making his Bullfrogs debut tomorrow will be Zach Butler (Lincoln Memorial) squaring off against Rex Morrow (Madison College) for the Kingfish.
