Kenosha Kingfish News Release
The Kenosha weather has not been kind to the Kingfish so far in this home stand. Last night the Kingfish had a tough break with the fog and tonight, the rain came pouring down in the top of the ninth. The game was delayed for 15 minutes and soon after, the game was officially called. The contest officially ended at the end of the eighth and the Kingfish fall to a score of 1-0.
The Chinooks crossed home plate first in the second inning. Brett Siddall singled and advanced to second on a steal and scored on a RBI from Kyle Wood. Siddall was able to best Garcia once again when he reach base in the fourth.
Rico Garcia pitched a solid effort with seven innings pitched, three strikeouts and one run. The Kingfish ran into trouble against Chinooks starter James Teague and couldn't get runs on the board.
