Honkers, Border Cats Rained out Thursday Night

(Rochester, Minn.)- The Rochester Honkers and the Thunder Bay Border Cats were postponed due to heavy rainfall prior to their first pitch on Thursday evening. Because tonight's game was the last in the series, the Honkers and Border Cats will make up the ballgame the next time the two teams meet in Rochester, Minn., on Saturday, Aug. 2., for a doubleheader. The games Aug. 2 will be two seven-inning contests, times to be determined.
The Honkers will make the trip to Alexandria, Minn., tomorrow to begin a two-game series. Tomorrow's game will be at 7:05 p.m. with Matt Kent (Texas A&M) set to make his second start this season. The Honkers return home on Sunday to play Willmar for another two game series with the Stingers. First pitch is scheduled for 1:05 p.m. For ticket information, log on to rochesterhonkers.com.
