Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
HAMILTON, ONT. - The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today that the hockey club will recognize the McMaster Marauders Football Team as part of a pre-game ceremony on Friday, Dec. 12 against the Rochester Americans at 7:30 p.m. at FirstOntario Centre.
"McMaster University's football program once again made the City of Hamilton proud with another Vanier Cup appearance this season, its third in the last four years," said Bulldogs president Stephen Ostaszewicz. "We're thrilled to be able to recognize the Marauders on another successful football season and welcome them to our game on Friday night."
The ceremony planned before the game will include a puck drop with offensive lineman and team captain Zach Intzandt and a video tribute. Intzandt will be accompanied by other members of the McMaster Marauder Football Team at the game.
McMaster students looking to attend the game can purchase tickets for $12 at the Compass Information Centre located on campus.
Friday's game will also mark the annual Toy Toss Night. Fans are encouraged to bring a wrapped (plastic bag) stuffed toy to the game to be tossed on the ice when Hamilton scores its first goal. All donations at the game will go the CHML/Y108/953 Fresh FM Children's Fund, which will disperse the toys to local charities in time for Christmas.
Hamilton Bulldogs flex tickets, group tickets and single-game tickets are on sale now. For more information, call 1-866-DOGS-TIX or visit hamiltonbulldogs.com.
