Following a scoreless first period, Cole Schneider, who led the team with two points, gave Binghamton the lead 9:14 into the second period off assists from Ryan Dzingel and Jean-Gabriel Pageau. Derek Grant and the power-play unit made it 2-0 when Grant redirected a shot from Alex Grant past the Amerks Nathan Lieuwen just shy of the 12-minute mark of the period. Less than two minutes later, Johan Larsson cut the lead to 2-1 taking a feed from Mikhail Grigorenko and beating Greenham for his sixth goal of the season.

Binghamton regained its two-goal lead 2:42 into the third period when Max McCormick recorded his third tally of the year before Pageau completed an acrobatic move on the power play to give the B-Sens the 4-1 victory.

Saturday, Dec. 6: Adirondack 3, Binghamton 5

Shots: Adirondack 27, Binghamton 30

PP: Adirondack 0 for 4, Binghamton 1 for 2

Binghamton remained in the win column with a 5-3 home victory over the Adirondack Flames on the Annual Teddy Bear Toss Night. Chris Driedger made his second start in net stopping 24 of 27 Flames chances to guide the B-Sens to its fourth straight win.

Adirondack opened the scoring 11:05 into the first period when Patrick Sieloff beat Driedger over the glove hand for his first of the season. Binghamton drew the score even less than three minutes later on Fredrik Claesson's first of the year which sent teddy bears onto the home ice. The B-Sens managed to take a 2-1 lead into the first intermission after Matt Puempel's first of the night. Puempel skated up the right side of the ice beating his defender before flipping the puck past Thiessen for his sixth of the year.

The Flames tied the game 2-2 just past the 12 minute mark of the middle frame off Bryce Van Brabant's first of two goals. Buddy Robinson regained the lead for Binghamton with less than four minutes to play in the second. Derek Grant intercepted an Adirondack pass and found a streaking Robinson who made one move and backhanded the puck past Thiessen for his third of the year. Van Brabant once again evened the score when he beat Driedger with less than 30 seconds to play in the period making it 3-3. Binghamton was awarded a late power-play opportunity when Corey Potter was whistled for interference with 10 seconds left in the second. With just 2.5 seconds showing on the clock, Puempel sent a laser to the back of the net to give the hosts a 4-3 advantage heading into the final period of regulation.

Binghamton controlled the puck for the majority of the third holding the Flames to just eight shots on goal over the final 20 minutes of play. Danny Hobbs made it a 5-3 lead at the 10 minute mark of the frame and the B-Sens held on for its sixth win in the past seven games.

Thiessen finished with 25 saves on 30 shots faced in the losing effort.

Sunday, Dec. 7: Binghamton 2, Hartford 4

PP: Binghamton 0 for 4, Hartford 1 for 1

The Binghamton Senators fell 4-2 Sunday afternoon in Hartford as the Wolf Pack ended the team's season-long win streak at four games. Mackenzie Skapski turned aside 43 of 45 Binghamton shots to give Hartford the win.

Hartford opened the scoring just 1:20 into the contest on a power-play goal from Chris Bourque who beat Greenham from the slot for his ninth tally of the year. Schneider evened the score at 1-1 when he knocked home a rebound in front of Skapski with just over 11 minutes to play in the opening frame. Danny Kristo gave the Wolf Pack the 2-1 lead heading into intermission with his seventh of the year at 11:48 of the period.

Dallas Jackson made it 3-1 Hartford just shy of the nine-minute mark in the second before Kristo notched his second of the night less than one minute later to open the home team's lead. Despite Binghamton outshooting Hartford 21-15 in the second, the Wolf Pack used its two second period tallies for a 4-1 lead heading into the final intermission.

Binghamton shrunk the Wolf Pack's lead to 4-2 just 13 seconds into the final frame when Fredrik Claesson sent a puck towards the goal mouth that maneuvered through traffic and into the back of the net. Skapski turned aside the final 14 B-Sens shots on goal to preserve the Hartford victory.
