San Antonio, TX - The Hamilton Bulldogs defeated the San Antonio Rampage 3-0 on Friday night. The win extended the Bulldogs point streak to seven games, a franchise record for point streak to start a season. Hamilton remains the only team in the AHL that has yet to suffer a regulation loss.

The 'Dogs opened the scoring at 5:47 of the first period. Tom Pyatt received a pass from Brock Trotter while positioned in the high slot. Pyatt ripped a shot that bounced off the glove of San Antonio starting goaltender Al Montoya and into the back of the net.

The Bulldogs added their second goal on the power play at 3:47 of the final frame. Montoya made the initial save on an Andre Benoit shot but could not contain the rebound. Ben Maxwell grabbed the loose puck before using a forehand-to-backhand move and firing the puck past a sprawled Montoya. The 'Dogs earned a 3-0 lead at 15:44 with a power-play goal. Pyatt fed a pass to Mathieu Carle, who used a backhand shot that beat Montoya through the legs.

Hamilton starting goaltender Curtis Sanford recorded the shutout making 24 saves for his second shutout of the season.
