
Admirals Home Schedule Saturday Night

Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI-After starting the 2009-10 season with a six games on the road, the Milwaukee Admirals will finally kick-off the home portion of their schedule at 7:30 pm on Saturday, October 24 against the Manitoba Moose at the Bradley Center. All fans at the game will receive an Admirals magnet schedule for the 2009-10 season, courtesy of Pick 'n Save and Old Orchard.
In a ceremony prior to the game, the Admirals will honor Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, DJ Harper, Milwaukee Police Officers Graham Kunisch and Bryan Norberg, Milwaukee Firefighters Joel and John Rechlitz, Elm Grove Police Officer John Krahn, and United States Navy Officer Jaymz Touchstone. Over the last six months, these eight individuals captured the hearts of the Milwaukee community with their selfless acts and heroic deeds, often in the face of tremendous peril.
The pregame ceremonies for opening night will commence at approximately 7:20 pm.
The Admirals will also kick-off their Hunt for Pink October at Saturday's game. At all three October home games the Admirals will help to raise breast cancer awareness with pink ribbons emblazoned on the ice. In addition, the Admirals will also raise funds for the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer through the sales of the player's game-worn home helmets which will feature the symbolic pink breast cancer ribbons during three October games.
