Manitoba Moose News Release

The Manitoba Moose are encouraging fans to wear pink on Friday, October 30th when the Moose face the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins as part of "Ladies Night" festivities.

"Ladies Night" will cap off a month-long campaign by the Manitoba Moose who donated proceeds raised from the sale of a number of new unique collectibles, such as specialty pucks, pins, and sticks used by Moose players in a game or practice at all October Moose games to "Keeping Abreast" - a local charity devoted to the fight against breast cancer awareness. "Ladies Night" will be no different as the first 500 ladies through the doors of MTS Centre will receive complimentary gift bags which will include a long list of goodies including Morden's Chocolates. Throughout the night there will be exciting "Ladies Night" giveaways for all fans in attendance.

The concourse will house "Pink Booths' featuring local businesses such as Total She, Riverstone Spa, Edible Arrangements, CDI College, Global Elements and LA Dance Academy for fans to browse before and during the game. Local singer and award-winning artist Sheena Grobb will entertain fans on the south-end game night stage prior to game time from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and during intermissions.

To get geared up for October 30th and get some pink attire for the game visit the "Off the Rack" Store, the official store of the Manitoba Moose to get your very own pink pucks, pink pins and limited edition Moose pink fleeces and t-shirts.

The game sponsor for the night is "Keeping Abreast", a local charity which started in late 2007 and devotes their time to fundraising for research, state-of-the-art medical equipment and education about breast cancer and the benefits of reconstructive surgery.
