Cleveland, OH - The Hamilton Bulldogs were defeated by the Lake Erie Monsters 3-0 on Saturday night. The âDogs could not beat Lake Erie starting goaltender John Grahame as he stopped all 30 of Hamilton's shots to lead his team to the victory.
The Monsters took a 1-0 lead at 8:37 of the opening frame with a power-play goal. Patrick Rissmiller received a pass from Ben Walter before sending the puck towards the net. Ryan Stoa redirected the puck past Hamilton starting goaltender Robert Mayer and into the net.
Lake Erie took a 2-0 lead at 4:47 of the second stanza with a shorthanded tally. Justin Mercier sent the puck to Mike Carman, who skated in on a breakaway.
