This week, the Hamilton Bulldogs wrap up their pre-season schedule when they host the Utica Comets (AHL Affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks) on Thursday, October 3rd at 7:00 p.m. at J.L. Grightmire Market Street Arena in Dundas, Ontario. Hamilton Bulldogs training camp invitee Andre Morrissette scored the game winner with 34 seconds to play to put Team White past Team Red 3-2 on Monday evening in the Bulldogs' intrasquad game at Peach King Centre in Grimsby, Ontario. Forwards Erik Nystrom and Alex Belzile also scored for Team White, while defenceman Morgan Ellis and forward Joonas Nattinen replied for Team Red. Robert Mayer started in goal for Team White, allowing two goals. Chris Festarini took over midway through the second, shutting out Team Red the rest of the way. Peter Delmas started in goal for Team Red, allowing one goal. Mike Condon gave up two in relief of Delmas in the second half of the game.

Toronto Marlies' forward Spencer Abbott scored with less than two minutes to play to break a 3-3 tie to lift the Marlies to a 5-3 win over the Hamilton Bulldogs Friday night at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex in Oakville, Ontario. Forwards Chad Wiseman, Erik Nystrom and Stefan Fournier scored for Hamilton. Mike Condon started in goal for the Bulldogs, making 33 saves on 37 shots.

Hamilton Bulldogs forward Patrick Holland got the 'Dogs on the board with a powerplay goal midway through the third period, but that was all the offense Hamilton could muster as they fell to the Toronto Marlies 2-1 on Saturday evening in Cobourg, Ontario. Dustin Tokarski started in goal for Hamilton, with Robert Mayer taking over midway through the second period. The two goaltenders combined for 22 saves on 24 shots.
