
Gervais and Hall Loaned to Phantoms

As part of final roster moves for their Opening Night lineup, the Philadelphia Flyers have loaned NHL veterans Bruno Gervais (D) and Adam Hall (C) to the Adirondack Phantoms.
Bruno Gervais, 28, has played in 418 NHL games mostly with the New York Islanders. He has scored 16 goals and 71 assists for 87 career points from 2005-2013. In his debut season with Philadelphia last year he played in 37 games scoring one goal and five assists. Gervais played with the Islanders for six seasonss from 2005-2011 and with Tampa Bay for one season in 2011-12.
The native of Longueuil, Quebec last played in the AHL with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the end of the 2006-07 season. He saw action in three games that year on April 4, 6 and 7.
Gervais' most recent season in the AHL was in 2005-06 with Bridgeport in which he was second among defenseman in goals (16). He also represented Bridgeport at the AHL All Star Classic in Winnipeg that season playing for the Canadian Team against Planet USA. Goalie Yann Danis, also now with Adirondack, was named a Co-MVP in that game while representing Hamilton. Gervais was a sixth-round selection of the Islanders in 2003 from Acadie-Bathurst of the QMJHL.
Adam Hall, 33, from Kalamazoo, Michigan played with Tampa Bay, Carolina and Philadelphia last season appearing in a total of 37 games including 11 with the Flyers. Hall has 602 career NHL games with 65 goals and 92 assists for 147 points. He has played with sseven different NHL teams including Nashville, New York Rangers, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, Carolina and Philadelphia.
Hall's last AHL action and his only full season in the league was in the 2009-10 campaign with the Norfolk Admirals in the Tampa Bay organization. He played in 79 games scoring 16 goals and 25 assists for 41 points for Norfolk that year helping earn him a return trip to the NHL the following season in which he played in 79 out of 80 games with Tampa Bay. The Michigan State University product was a second-round selection of the Nashville Predators in 1999.
Opening Night for the first home game of the 2013-14 season is Saturday, October 12 against the Hartford Wolf Pack.
