
Bulldogs Recall Bobby Shea from Nailers

MONTREAL, QUE. - Montreal Canadiens and Hamilton Bulldogs general manager Marc Bergevin announced today the Bulldogs have recalled defenceman Bobby Shea from the ECHL's Wheeling Nailers.
Shea has split this season between the Bulldogs and Nailers. In two games with Hamilton, he has recorded 14 penalty minutes. In 30 games with Wheeling, he has recorded seven points (two goals, five assists) and 86 penalty minutes.
In 31 career American Hockey League regular season games with the Bulldogs and Rockford IceHogs, the 5-11, 195-pound defenceman has recorded seven points (three goals, four assists) and 98 penalty minutes. In 53 career ECHL regular season games with the Nailers, Toledo Walleye and Reading Royals, the Harrison Township, Mich. native has recorded 12 points (four goals, eight assists) and 125 penalty minutes.
The 24-year-old was signed by the Bulldogs to a one-year contract on July 21, 2014.
The Bulldogs will be back in action on Saturday, Feb. 7 when they'll visit the Lake Erie Monsters at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio at 7 p.m. The 'Dogs will return home on Tuesday, Feb. 10 when they'll host the Iowa Wild at FirstOntario Centre at 7:30 p.m.
