December 15, 2018 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Brantford Bulldogs News Release

HAMILTON, ONTARIO. The teddy bears were flying at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton on Saturday as the Bulldogs wrapped up the first half of the 2018-2019 OHL season against the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

The fans had to be patient as it was the Greyhounds who scored twice in the 1st period to take a 2-0 lead.

The teddy bears were unleashed thanks to a Brandon Saigeon (22) power-play goal at 12:15 of the 2nd period. Fans tossed 12,550 bears onto the ice in support of the Salvation Army and Toy Mountain.

Unfortunately, the visitors from the Soo scored three more in the 3rd period to make the final 5-1.

3 STARS:

1) Ethan Taylor (SSM) 2) Keeghan Howdeshell (SSM) 3) Brandon Saigeon (HAM)

The Bulldogs are on Holiday break until December 28th when they travel to Guelph before returning to FirstOntario Centre Saturday December 29th to host the Storm at 4 pm.
