Hamilton Bulldogs News Release


The Hamilton Bulldogs (13-22-0-2) will look to end the calendar year of 2005 with a win when they take on the Peoria Rivermen (16-14-1-1). This game will be the first ever meeting between these two teams, who will face off on Friday, January 6 in Hamilton for the final time this season.

The Bulldogs are in seventh place in the North Division with 28 points and trail the sixth place Cleveland Barons by four points. The Rivermen sit in fifth position in the West Division, two points back of the fourth place Omaha Knights (14-14-1-7).

BULLDOGS NOTES - LW Michael Lambert has scored a goal in each of his last three games, which ties him with Francis Lemieux and Brad Winchester (twice) for the longest goal-scoring streak by a Bulldog this season. Lambert has added two assists over the stretch for a total of five points.

- Lemieux, who scored his eleventh goal of the season last night in the Bulldogs' 7-2 loss to the Grand Rapids Griffins, is tied with Brad Winchester for the team's goal scoring lead.

- D Mathieu Roy has four points (1g-3a) in his last two games.
