Binghamton Senators News Release

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators on Saturday released forward Mike Berry from his 25-game professional tryout agreement. Berry played for the Senators against the Rochester Americans last night and had a goal on the first shot of his American Hockey League debut.

Berry returned to the Adirondack Frostbite of the United Hockey League (UHL) following the game in Rochester. He has 28 points (13 goals, 15 assists) and 34 penalty minutes in 28 games this season for the Frostbite.

Binghamton forwards Denis Hamel and Danny Bois will return to the Binghamton line up tonight. Hamel was returned on loan from Ottawa following the Sens' 4-3 win against the New York Islanders at the Corel Centre last night. Bois will return after a one-game AHL suspension sidelined him on Friday.

Binghamton wraps up a stretch of five games in six nights as the Syracuse Crunch will visit the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena for a 6:05 p.m. showdown tonight. Call (607) 722-7367 for ticket information.
