Hamilton Bulldogs News Release


The Hamilton Bulldogs (8-14-0-1) will look to rebound from a 7-2 loss last night to Manitoba when they face the Moose for the second straight day at the MTS Centre. The Bulldogs are tied with the Cleveland Barons for sixth place in the North Division with 17 points. The Moose sit in second position with 31 points. The next meeting between these two teams will take place on Saturday, January 7 at Copps Coliseum (7:00 p.m.).

BULLDOGS NOTES

- RW Andrei Kostitsyn has recorded at least one point in four consecutive games (1g, 7a)

- C Corey Locke is currently on a three-game assist streak (5a)

- C Garth Murray tallied his first assist of the season against Manitoba.

- D Jeff Paul returned to the line-up last night after missing 9 games with a shoulder injury.

- LW Jean-Francois Jacques scored his team-leading ninth goal of the season and added an assist.

- The Bulldogs totaled a season-high 76 penalty minutes in last night's game.

- D Marc-Andre Bergeron scored his sixth goal of the season last night in Edmonton 3-2 loss to Colorado. His six goals are tops among Oilers defencemen.

BULLDOGS RENEW QEW RIVALRY

The Bulldogs next game will take place on Friday, December 2, when the Toronto Maple Leafs AHL Affiliate, the Toronto Marlies, visit Copps Coliseum for the third time this season. Both teams will be wearing specialty jerseys honouring the rivalry between the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and the Toronto Argonauts. Tiger-Cat and Argonaut players and alumni will be in attendance. Game time is at 7:30 p.m.
