Hamilton Bulldogs News Release
The Hamilton Bulldogs lost their first road game in regulation time on Saturday night, as they dropped a 3-2 decison to the Flames at Harbour Station in Saint John, New Brunswick. The Bulldogs record now stands at 4 wins, 2 losses, 0 ties and 1 overtime loss on the season.
Scoring goals for the Bulldogs were Tomas Plekanec and Francois Beauchemin. The goal scored by Beauchemin was his first with the Bulldogs.
The Flames were led offensively by defenceman Micki Dupont who had two goals on the night, including the game winner. Oleg Sayprkin had the other Saint John goal.
Bulldogs goaltender Mathieu Garon made 36 saves in net for Hamilton. Dany Sabourin earned the win for Saint John stopping 28 of the 30 shots the Bulldogs fired at the Flames net.
