
Bulldogs celebrate St. John's rivalry

The Hamilton Bulldogs will be celebrating the 100th and final regular season meeting between the Bulldogs and St. John's Maple Leafs - TOMORROW - Friday, April 1st (7:30 p.m.) at Copps Coliseum on 'Pizza Pizza Newfoundland Night'.
As part of the celebrations, there are a number of special events and attractions scheduled for 'Pizza Pizza Newfoundland Night':
* Bandaloni 'The One Man Band'
* Live bands 'Sonus' on the concourse and 'Stramash' in the lower beer garden
* Eastern music between stoppages in play
* 'Pizza Pizza' Andrei Kostitsyn bandanas for the first 2,500 fans
* Oyster bar
* Get 'Screeched In' on the concourse
* Intermission Fishing contest
* Tag Body Spray Photo Booth
* Molson Extreme Team
* 'Newfie' Trivia
* Buddy the Puffin, the St. John's Maple Leafs mascot will be in attendance
* A Newfoundland table featuring 'Newfie' souvenirs and collectables
All-time the Bulldogs have earned a record of 46 wins, 39 losses, 12 ties, 1 overtime loss and 1 shootout loss versus the St. John's Maple Leafs.
The Hamilton Bulldogs Youth Fund will be holding a Food Drive at Friday's game, which is in support of Secondary School Food for Learning, a breakfast program for area high schools. Bulldogs fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food donation to the game.
As well thousands of upper bowl tickets were sold for this game throughout the Hamilton area courtesy of Wally Barubek, a Bulldogs sponsor and season ticket holder, and the Insurance Brokers Association of Hamilton and Dan Lawrie Insurance. Proceeds from these upper bowl tickets will go towards 'CITY KIDZ', a non-profit charity that assists disadvantaged children living in the inner city of Hamilton.
