Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release

BOSSIER CITY, LA -- The Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs struck first in the second home game of the year against the Odessa Jackalopes. Daniel Pegoraro picked up his third goal of the year on a text book two-on-one feed from Joe Ori.

There was no scoring in the second period as each team was unable to capitalize on three power play opportunites. Ken Carroll kept the lead for the Bugs, turning aside a breakaway opportunity for Odessa and one-timer right in front of his net.

Ken Carroll would remain brilliant in net as he held Odessa scoreless in the third period and picked up his first shutout of the year. Daniel Pegararo scored once more, an empty netter to ice the game.
