HIDALGO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League close out a two-game series at Rio Grande Valley Saturday night at State Farm Arena. Game time is 7:30pm.

The Bucks winless streak was extended to a season-high six games (0-5-1) with a 4-0 loss to the Bees on Friday night. Laredo enters Saturday's game five points behind Arizona for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Berry Conference and eight points behind Rio Grande Valley for sixth place. Laredo has one game in hand on both the Sundogs and Killer Bees. The Bucks and Bees will play the final two games against each other next weekend in a home and home series.
A loss of any kind Saturday and the Bucks will tie their franchise record seven-game winless streak (set last season), and tie their franchise record six-game losing streak (set this season). Laredo has not won since a 4-1 victory in Arizona on February 2nd.
Laredo's next win will be the 550th career victory for Bucks President/General Manager and Head Coach Terry Ruskowski.
The Bees have won three straight games to move into sixth place in the Berry Conference and sit five points behind Mississippi for fifth.
Rio can clinch the first-ever Cricket Mayor's cup with a regulation win tonight over Laredo. The Bees lead the mayor's cup standings 17 points to 13.
