
Bruins battle for victory

Providence Bruins News Release
The Providence Bruins moved into fourth place in the tightly-contested Atlantic Division standings following Friday night's hard-fought 2-1 victory over the Norfolk Admirals at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. The teams split their two-game season series at 1-1-0-0. The win improved the Bruins' season record to 8-7-2-2 (20 points).
Bruin center Keith Aucoin finished off a nifty passing play from Andy Hilbert and Patrice Bergeron for the game-winning goal, on a power play at 11:29 of the third period. Defenseman Milan Jurcina scored the team's other goal, on a second period power play.
Goaltender Hannu Toivonen stopped 33 shots to improve to 7-7-1 on the season.
The Bruins visit the Lowell Lock Monsters on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m., before heading to Hartford to take on the Wolf Pack on Sunday afternoon at 4:05 p.m. All the action will be broadcast live on WDDZ AM-550 and online at www.providencebruins.com.
The Bruins return home to host the Manchester Monarchs on Friday, December 3 at 7:05 p.m. The game will be the second of six to be televised live on COX Sports Television. The Bruins also host the Hershey Bears on Sunday, December 5 at 4:05 p.m.
