CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim recalled left wing Mike Brown and goaltender Jean-Francois Damphousse from the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the American Hockey League on Monday.
Brown, a first-round pick by Florida in 1997, was scoreless in two games with Cincinnati after being assigned November 1 for conditioning. The 6-foot-4, 225-pounder has not appeared in any games with Anaheim since being claimed off waivers October 11 from Vancouver.
Damphousse, a first-round pick by New Jersey in 1997, has appeared in four games with Cincinnati this season, going 2-2-0 with a 3.24 goals-against average and .899 save percentage.
To replace Damphousse, Cincinnati recalled goaltender Paolo Della Bella from Knoxville of the Atlantic Coast Hockey League. Della Bella, 25, was 3-0-0 with a 2.96 goals-against average and .897 save percentage in four games with Knoxville this season.
