November 20, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL)
Louisiana IceGators News Release
Lafayette, LA - IceGators captain Bobby Brown and defenseman Ben Storey made their musical debuts Thursday night at Artmosphere, singing and playing their guitars in front of 100 fans and teammates. The duo, which does not have a name yet, played for nearly three hours, with a 30-minute break.
Brown and Storey played a mix of folk, country and classic rock, and mixed in some Canadian bands. They brought teammate Milt Mastad up on stage with a guitar, and the trio sang David Allen Coe's "You Never Even Call Me By My Name." Brown and Storey began the night with "Cat's in the Cradle". They even sang Brown's self-written "Lafayette-aville," a tribute to life in the Hub City and the ECHL.
