Clouthier Recalled to Albany

Cincinnati, OH-Cyclones general manager and coach Chris Cichocki announced today that left winger Brett Clouthier has been recalled to the Albany River Rats of the American Hockey League. Clouthier appeared in three games with the Clones prior to his recall.

During his stint with the Clones, Clouthier recorded a goal and two assists in three games. Clouthier had a hand in three of the Clones' five goals during his time in Cincinnati. He returns to Albany where played three games this season before coming to Cincinnati.

Garrett Prosofsky will fill Clouthier's spot on the Clones roster. Prosofsky came off the injured reserve today and will play in the Clones' home-and-home this weekend with Peoria.

The Clones return to the ice on Friday vs. the Peoria Rivermen at U.S. Bank Arena. The Cyclones are 0-2 this season vs. the Rivermen. The R-Men gained a comeback victory on opening night to down the Clones 4-3 and defeated the Clones 4-2 last Friday in Cincinnati.
