
Brooklyn Cyclones Host Earliest Home Opener Ever Tuesday in Coney Island

The Brooklyn Cyclones will host its 2022 season home opener at Maimonides Park in Coney Island on Tuesday, April 12th with a 7:00pm game against the Jersey Shore BlueClaws. This will mark the first ever Cyclones game to be played in the month of April in what will be its second season as the High-A East affiliate of the New York Mets.
For Luis Rivera, it will be his first season at he helm of the team he played for as a New York-Penn League All Star in 2006, making him the first former Cyclones player to manage the club in its 21 year history.
Fans will be greeted at the front gate at 5:45pm as they enter by members of the Cyclones, an annual tradition on Opening Day.
