The shot heard 'round the world, the 1955 World Series, the first time Jackie Robinson laced up his spikes breaking barriers both on and off the field and the triumphant return of professional baseball to the borough of Brooklyn have all been immortalized through books documenting these historic events. On Saturday, July 26th the Brooklyn Cyclones will host a book fair at the Brooklyn Baseball Gallery at KeySpan Park, featuring books about Jackie Robinson, Branch Rickey, The Brooklyn Dodgers, The New York Giants and The Brooklyn Cyclones. The fair will give fans a chance to talk with the authors about their works and the history of the game they are so passionate about.
